The things you find when….. and some blog candy.

While tidying up my craft room a little yesterday I came across this unfinished card wallet.

Birthday_Ocean Commotion card wallet blank

It really didn’t need a lot to finish it off. A handle and a closure should do it.

Then I realised what DSP pack I had used and had a brainwave. Well 2 actually. Don’t freak out I’m okay……….hahaha

Birthday_Ocean Commotion Card 1

Seeing that it is the East Coast Prep DSP and that’s what I used for this recent card (now shown with it’s coordinating envelope), my brainwave was to use the East Coast Prep DSP and the Ocean Commotion stamp set and create a set of 4 matching cards and envelopes for the Card Wallet. I decided to go with a Birthday theme as the colours are bright and cheery.

So this is obviously the first card so what others are there..

The main 4 colours used in the East Coast Prep DSP are Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi and More Mustard so I decided I would make a base card from each of these. I already had the Tempting Turquoise so next is using Wild Wasabi.

Birthday_Ocean Commotion Card 2

First I stamped the seaweed image using Wild Wasabi down the right hand side of the card. I then scallop edged a piece of More Mustard card and then layered a piece of East Coast Prep DSP on top which I adhered to the card as shown. Using Tempting Turquoise inkpad I stamped the seahorse onto Whisper White card, trimmed and then layered onto a slightly larger piece of Real Red which has then been mounted to the card using stampin’ dimensionals. Finally I inked a stamp from So Many Sayings (Hostess set) using Real Red ink and punched out using the Word Window Punch and adhered to card.

Birthday_Ocean Commotion Card 3

With this card I stamped the main images first and worked from there.

I stamped the Angel Fish, starting from the top right hand side 3 times without reinking in Real Red and then reinked and stamped once onto a scrap piece of Whisper White which I then cut out. Next I stamped the seaweed using Tempting Turquoise randomly doing some as a second stamping before reinking to give a softer shadowy look. The Birthday sentiment is from the Cheer & Wishes stamp set and is stamped in Wild Wasabi. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to help with alignment.

This was then mounted to a slightly larger piece of More Mustard card.

Using my 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter I have added some sparkle to the seaweed which I hope you can see.

I then randomly stamped the shell image using Wild Wasabi ink onto Wild Wasabi Card. This is then mounted to the Real Red base card. The main image was then added and the final touch was to add the cut out Angel Fish using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

So that now leaves the More Mustard base card and here that is.

Birthday_Ocean Commotion Card 4

First off I cut a piece of East Coast Prep DSP and a piece of Whisper White 67mm x 67mm and 2 pieces of Wild Wasabi at 70mm x 70mm. I then adhered the East Coast Prep DSP to one of the Wild Wasabi pieces and tied Real Red striped ribbon around it and adhered to the card as shown.

Using More Mustard ink and the Angel Fish I stamped 4 times as shown reinking each time. Then I stamped the seaweed image twice using Wild Wasabi ink. I decided I wanted to add some sparkle so I used the new Chunky Glitter available in the Summer Mini. To do this I ran my Tombow Multi Adhesive Glue over parts of the seaweed image and then sprinkled on the Celery Chunky Sprinkles. This is then layered onto the second Wild Wasabi Piece and then mounted to the card as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The last step was to add the ‘Make A Wish’ rub-on from the Eastern Elegance pack.

To finish up this set I needed to complete the last details for the card wallet and this is what I did.

Birthday_Ocean Commotion Card Wallet

I decided to keep it rather plain so I added a handle using some More Mustard 1/4” grosgrain ribbon and added a closure using the Birthday stamp from It’s Your Birthday along with the Scallop Square Punch.

Using the Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi and Real Red Markers I inked the words as shown. This is stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White card and punched out using the 1 1/4” square punch. I then punched out a scallop square from More Mustard card. This image is mounted to the scallop square using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This is then adhered to the top flap of the card wallet but just the top half. I have then added a Velco Dot for a fastener.

So now to tell you about the second brainwave…… I assure you I’m okay.

This is where the Blog Candy comes in.

I have decided to offer this whole set as Blog Candy.

Birthday_Ocean Commotion set a

Envelope Gift Card Holder

Eastern Blooms Envelope Gift Card Holder & Card

This week in our demonstrator group the wonderful Makeesha shared her tutorial for Envelope Gift Card Holders. You can see this tutorial and Makeesha’s samples here.

These are reasonably easy and quick to make once you have decided which beautiful Stampin’ Up Designer Series Paper Pack you are going to use along with a stamp set…..hehehe. I’m sure I’ll be making more of these.

Here’s a picture of the inside which fits the card in the back section and has room for the gift card (hence why they are called Envelope ‘Gift Card’ Holders).

Eastern Blooms Envelope Gift Card Holder

To make these holders you need to have the Stampin’ Up 5-in-1 card cover template. Not only can you use the template to create personalised matching envelopes for your card creations but you can use it to make great little creations like this one.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Eastern Blooms, It’s Your Birthday
Card: Taken With Teal, Rose Red, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Bali Breeze DSP
Ink: Rose Red, Old Olive inkpads, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pies Markers

Ocean Sprinkles

I haven’t used this set a great deal since purchasing it back in November and was still yet to use my new Chunky Sprinkles but after seeing a wonderful card made by Makeesha I just had to have a play. This is the card I made yesterday while my good friends Leonie & Carol were visiting with their children.

Ocean Commotion 2

I decided I would use the East Coast Prep DSP so the colours that coordinate with that are More Mustard, Wild Wasabi, Real Red and Tempting Turquoise.

I first stamped the swirly coral image using the Wild Wasabi inkpad. I then traced over some of the image with my Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive which I covered with the sprinkles. It gives a real 3D effect.

Ocean Commotion 2 close up

The Angel Fish was stamped in More Mustard and the Seahorse in Tempting Turquoise on Whisper White card, cut out and adhered to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Ocean Commotion
Card: Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Whisper White, East Coast Prep DSP
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise, More Mustard
Accessories: Wild Wasabi Striped Ribbon, Celery Chunky Sprinkles, Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive, Real Red brads (Bold Brights), Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thank You

Embrace Life 4

This card was made for a good friend and fellow demonstrator Leonie Schroder. I literally just finished this card this morning before Leonie arrived with her girls to spend the day, and I do mean just as I managed to get the Pearl affixed as my girls went out and welcomed them.

We had a great day. Another friend and her 2 children joined us also. All up there were 3 of us + 8 children (7 girls and only 1 boy). The children spent most of the day in the pool but no matter how much we told them to wear the sunscreen there will be a few sore children for the next few days. Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter so I think it will be an inside day for sure.

The adults managed to have a bit of a play today. Mostly we chatted though but I did manage to make 1 card so will share that with you tomorrow. Leonie stamped and coloured some images from a stamp set she didn’t have so hopefully she will share those on her blog in a few days. I’ll keep reminding her……. If you haven’t seen Leonie’s blog you might like to check it out here.

Supplies:
Stamp set: Embrace Life, Short & Sweet
Card: Groovy Guava, Ruby Red, River Rock, Watercolor Paper, Ginger Blossom DSP.
Ink: Stazon Black, Groovy Guava, Ruby Red
Accessories: Sherbet Ribbon Originals, White Gel Pen, Pretties Kit.

I finally did it.......WooHoo

Yes my share today is using another stamp set. Hopefully you're not all thinking .... finally.

My good friend and I decided we would stamp on Saturday night too seeing we had nothing else going on. On the Australian Demonstrator yahoo group I'm in the lovely Makeesha posted a new Sketch Challenge for us late Friday night so I wanted to play with that. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to use the new Embrace Life set from the current Summer Mini catalogue. So that's what I'm showing you today. I made one card using her sketch and another inspired by a card on SCS.

Here is the Sketch Challenge Makeesha gave us.

makeesha-sketch-003v2

and here is what I came up with:

Embrace Life 2

I don't use my Pretties Kit as often as I should so it was nice to put them to use in this card and just what it needed I think.

I have stamped the images onto Stampin' Up!s wonderful Watercolor Paper and used and Aqua Painter and inkpads to colour. I've use a White Gel Pen to colour the tips of the stamen on the main flower but not sure if you can see that too well here.

There's Groovey Guava in this card too......Well the DSP is Groovy Guava from the Afternoon Tea DSP pack and the main flower is watercoloured using Groovy Guava inkpad.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Embrace Life
Card: Ruby Red, River Rock, Watercolor Paper, Ginger Blossom DSP
Ink: Stazon Black, River Rock, Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Groovy Guava
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Aqua Painter, Pretties Kit, River Rock double stitched ribbon, White Gel Pen, Stampin' Dimensionals

Now the second card I made was inspired (almost a CASE I guess) by this card created by Wendy Janson.

Embrace Life 3

I have stamped the leaf print in Black Stazon 4 times using the stamp-a-ma-jog for placement. I then coloured in the leaves using the Black Stampin' Write Marker. The 'Make a Wish' sentiment is a Rub-on from the Eastern Elegance pack (retired Spring Mini Catalogue item). I cut a strip of DSP from the Afternoon Tea pack and layered onto a slightly wider piece of Basic Black card and then attached this to the card as shown. The flower was stamped on Watercolor Paper using Black Stazon and coloured using an Aqua Painter and Ruby Red inkpad. The centres of the stamen have been coloured using a White Gel Pen and I've attached a half backed white pearl from the Pretties Kit to the centre of the flower. This is mounted to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Embrace Life
Card: Basic Black, Ruby Red, Watercolor Paper, Ginger Blossom DSP
Ink: Stazon Black, Ruby Red, Basic Black Marker
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Eastern Elegance Rub-ons, Aqua Painter, White Gel Pen, Stampin' Dimensionals.

So what do you think?

I tried...

Really I did.

Tried to use another stamp set that is.

It was stamp night at my house on Friday night and I had all good intentions of using a different stamp set (I didn't even take it out to where we were stamping) but it just wasn't working so I went and pulled it out again. I promise my next post will be using another set though and hopefully will be tomorrow. I'm sure you realise the stamp set I'm talking about is 'Live Your Dreams' from the current Summer Mini Catalogue.

I did however use my newly created 'In Color' Markers, thanks to Carol Dunstan for her tutorial ,for the 2 cards I ended up making. I won't tell you how many hours we were stamping for but it really was pretty poor that I only made 2 cards. I guess when you have others to chat too and cuppa's to drink and Rocky Road slice to eat along with some other yummy goodies I just have to be greatful that I did get 2 cards made.....hahaha.

Onto the 2 cards I made.....

For the first one I've used a colour combination of Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky & Blue Bayou.

Live Your Dreams 12

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Live Your Dreams
Card: Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Whisper White, Afternoon Tea DSP
Ink: Wild Wasabi inkpad, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou & Wild Wasabi Markers (as per Carol's tutorial)
Accessories: Soft Sky double-stitched ribbon, Urban West Rub-ons.

Now for the second card I have used Groovy Guava, Soft Sky and Chocolate Chip.

Live Your Dreams 11

I do like Groovy Guava but it's probably one of my least used In Colors so far, however I do like this colour combination. I think that's the key though with Groovy Guava. You really need to find that right colour combination but I guess that can be said about any colour. I'll have to make more effort to use more of it before it retires at the end of March.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Live Your Dreams
Card: Groovy Guava, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Afternoon Tea DSP
Ink: Groovy Guava inkpad, Chocolate Chip Marker, Groovy Guava & Wild Wasabi markers (as per Carol's tutorial)
Accessories: Groovy Guava double-stitched ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Piercing template & tool (Tool Kit)

Now don't forget my next post will definitely have a different stamp set although I do hope you have enjoyed the cards I've made using the lovely 'Live Your Dreams' stamp set.

Card Organiser

As promised today I'm going to share my Card Organiser I made with you all. You can find the original Tutorial by Beate Johns here at SCS. After chatting with a friend and fellow demo that made one I wasn't sure if the original instructions would allow me to put enough cards in each section. Of course this would depend on the card you made but seeing how I usually use layers and sometimes add some ribbon, etc I thought I'd make some adjustments that may allow me to put an additional card or 2 in.

So here's the cover.

Card Organiser Book

For the covers I've used some DSP from the Fall Flowers pack, the word 'Cards' is made from the Big Deal Alphabet stamp set and has been mounted using Stampin' Dimensionals. I've bound the book with my Bind-It-All but there are other ways to hold the book together just use your imagination.  I've tied Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Soft Sky double-stitched ribbon, Whisper White 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and Really Rust Taffeta ribbon which I've made using Whisper White Taffeta ribbon and my Really Rust inkpad or you could use your marker.

The monthly pockets I decided to leave pretty plain and have added a little stamping on the Calendars. I cut the outer edge pocket and added some Soft Sky Ribbon to allow the pockets to expand a little more. The ribbon has been attached using eyelets for added strength but these aren't visible as the date calendar is layered over the top.

Card Organiser Book inside

Not sure if you can see but I've still used that same stamp set. I just can't get away from it at the moment, although I have used other stamps from the set this time.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Big Deal Alphabet, Live Your Dream
Card: Soft Sky, Old Olive, Fall Flowers DSP
Ink: Soft Sky, Really Rust, Old Olive, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Soft Sky double-stitched ribbon, Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain, Whisper White 1/4" grosgrain, Whisper White Taffeta, Sponge Dauber, Stampin' Dimensionals, Silver Brads, Crop-a-dile, Bind-It-All.

Birthday Cards....

No not for me as my birthday isn't till June but maybe for you...... These will be going out to some of my stamping friends in the not too distant future. One of my goals for this year is to be a little more active with sending cards out to those in the groups I'm in especially for Birthdays. I actually made a Card Organiser on Thursday afternoon and altered it a little from the SCS tutorial, which I will share with you tomorrow, but when it was finished I really didn't think it would hold the amount of cards it will need to. What I'm aiming to do is to just make Birthday cards some days so I'm not leaving them till the last minute and then they don't go out on time. Instead I've decided I'll use one of my Forget-Me-Knot keepers I have (unfortunately these aren't available at the current time through SU) but you could use any small box you have and decorate it with DSP to pretty it up. Anyway so now that I've shared 'one' of my aims/goals for this year let me show you the cards I made.

Remember yesterdays post I mentioned that these cards where using Old Olive, Real Red & Pumpkin Pie which is the combination I used for this original card shown here. Now I've differed these more than the Regal Rose, Old Olive & Pretty in Pink cards except for the image as you will see.

So this was the next card I made:

Live Your Dreams 10

For this card I two toned the flower. I inked up the whole flower with my Pumpkin Pie marker then I used a sponge dauber and Real Red inkpad around the outer edge. I was very happy with the colour result on this one. It looks a little more subtle and summery. The Real Red strip at the bottom of the card has been paper pierced with 3 rows as the strip looked very plain otherwise and I almost wasn't going to add it but the card still needed something. I'm happy with it. What do you think?

The next card was this one:

Live Your Dreams 9

This one has a slightly similar layout to the original. I've stamped onto the Old Olive card using Old Olive ink and the small flower cluster from the Live Your Dreams stamp set instead of using DSP. I'm not sure if you can see it too well from the picture but I've Paper Pierced around the right hand side only of the main image on the Real Red base card.

And the final card for today is this one.

Live Your Dreams 8

A little bit of Old Olive Print DSP, some Old Olive brads and a couple of markers and your done. Well maybe not that simple but it is a very quick card and still looks effective.

Hope you like today's cards.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Live Your Dreams, Short & Sweet or Cheer & Wishes or Sincere Salutations
Card: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie or Old Olive Prints DSP
Ink: Real Red inkpad, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red markers
Accessories: Real Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Real Red brads (Bold Brights), Old Olive Brads (Earth Elements), Large & Small Oval Punch, Paper Piercing template & Tool (Tool Kit), Stampin' Dimensionals.

Friday, January 9, 2009

I couldn't help myself.....

I know I said I might play with another stamp set but I was really enjoying the colour combinations I'd used on the past few cards so I've stayed with them and the stamp set too. I made 2 more cards similar to the original one shown here. In fact I used the same layout just added a few different elements.

Here is the first one:

Live Your Dreams 6

I've taken away the sentiment and added some Pretty In Pink Brads along with some 5/8" Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon.

Now this next card has just one little thing different and that is that I've added a Rub-on.

Live Your Dreams 7

Tomorrow I'll show you my other cards for the Old Olive, Real Red & Pumpkin Pie combinations. There are more differences to those cards.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Live Your Dreams
Card: Regal Rose, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White, Old Olive Prints DSP
Ink: Regal Rose inkpad, Pretty In Pink & Old Olive markers
Accessories: Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Pretty In Pink brads (Soft Subtles), Eastern Elegance Rub-ons (Spring Mini), Paper Piercing template & tool (Tool Kit), Stampin' Dimensionals.

Something blue.....

The colour I mean not the emotion. Who could be sad with the hot sunny weather we have in Sydney. Actually I don't think we can really complain since school holidays started. I know my girls have been in the pool heaps these last few weeks. I guess if you are stuck outside working you might not appreciate the heat so much.

After making the last 3 cards I've shared with you all I wanted to make something using Blue. Seeing how at the time I still hadn't made the effort to follow Carol Dunstan's Tutorial to make my own In Colour Markers I needed a colour combination using one of the regular colour family blues. I went with Bashful Blue, Barely Banana and Certainly Celery. I can't remember the last time I made a card using only colours from one colour family. It might be as long ago as my Convention Swaps from April last year.....

So this is what I came up with.

Live Your Dreams 2

Very soft I think but I do like it. However now that I have made time and created my In Colour Markers I wonder what combinations I'll try next. Actually I might play with another stamp set too.

Supplies:
Stamp set: Live Your Dreams, Short & Sweet
Card: Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Bashful Blue & Barely Banana inkpads, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana & Certainly Celery markers
Accessories: Small & Large Oval Punches, Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Sponge, Paper Piercing tool & template (Tool Kit), Stampin' Dimensionals.

Tres Chic

Tres Chic is one of the gorgeous Background Stamps from Stampin' Up! I can't believe I've only just purchased it. Obviously I've decided to use it in today's card and I also continued on with my current them of 3 favourite colours + a neutral and yes it's that Live Your Dreams stamp set again too.

Recently a good friend of mine and fellow demonstrator Leonie Schroder from Stamp-A-Latte made a lovely Valentine themed card where she used some sponging and in her post (which you can see here) she basically challenged me to try it but with my Brocade Basics stamp set. Well I decided to try something similar using the Live Your Dreams for now but have used a sponge dauber rather then the stampin sponges on the flower petals. Hope it meets your approval Leonie and I'll try out the other set soon.

So here is today's card:

Live Your Dreams 3

I really like how this one turned out, not that I don't like the others too of course. I've sponged around the edges of the Regal Rose piece after stamping the Tres Chic Background using Regal Rose ink. I've then added some Celery & White diagonal striped ribbon from the District Ribbon Original pack and included a silver ribbon buckle from the Hodgepodge set too. I just love how that turned out. This was then mounted to the Certainly Celery base card. Next, using my Apricot Appeal marker I coloured the flower petals, then using a sponge dauber I added some Regal Rose ink over the outer edges of the flower. I then used the Certainly Celery marker to colour the flower stem, huffed and stamped onto Whisper White card. Using the new Scallop Edge punch I scalloped the bottom edge of some Apricot Appeal Card which I then mounted the main image to. I pierced the centre of each scallop and then layered onto the main card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Live Your Dreams, Tres Chic
Card: Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White
Ink: Regal Rose inkpad, Apricot Appeal & Certainly Celery markers.
Accessories: District Ribbon Originals, Silver Hodgepodge Hardware, Scallop Edge punch, paper piercing tool & template (Tool Kit), sponge dauber, Stampin Sponges, Stampin' Dimensionals.

Favourite Colours

If you read my last post you will know that I participated in the Limited Supply Challenge called Favourite Things to make that card (still need to upload to SCS). Part of the challenge was that we could only use 3 of our favourite colours + a neutral. Seriously anyone that loves Stampin' Up! knows you don't have just 3 favourite colours so I made another using a different favourite combination still using the same favourite stamp set though. Today's combination is using Real Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.

Live Your Dreams 5

See that ribbon I've used? If you've been reading my blog for a while you might remember back at the start of our Stampin' Up! year (April) I kept on and on about using 'new things' all the time as I was determined not to have so much unused retired items left at the end of March this year as I have done in previous years. Well that worked for a while and then because my Ribbon Originals were tucked away in a draw I didn't think about them as often so they are still quite full. I've now rectified this and all my Ribbon Original packs are hanging on my wall above my desk (thanks to the wonderful Command Decorating Clips that are not only good for hanging your Christmas decorations all over the house but good for hanging the ribbon packs too). Did I mention how boring the hallway of my house looks now that all the Christmas decorations are packed away? I had tinsel down each side of the hall just below the roof (too high for any children to play with) and decorations hanging from the roof, the stairs had tinsel wrapped around them with big red Christmas Bows tied on too. I really don't like Christmas to come around too quickly but I'm thinking the decorations will go up in November this year so I can have all that colour back....hahaha.

Sorry I got a little off track there..... Now onto the supply list.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Live Your Dreams, Sincere Salutations
Card: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Old Olive Prints DSP
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie Markers
Accessories: District Ribbon Originals, Paper Piercing template & tool (Tool Kit), Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip.

A New Year

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebrating with family and friends eating lots of yummy food.

Well that's what I've been doing among other things with family over the past few weeks and very little stamping. Apart from 2 things I needed to get out before Christmas I have done no other stamping for nearly a month which is probably a record for me.

I was that busy leading up to Christmas with last minute shopping and end of school things such as Presentation Day where 2 of my younger 3 received certificates, one received the Year 4 Computer Certificate (wonder where she gets that interest from....) and the other received her Year 1 Class Mathematics Certificate (Maths was my strong area when I was at school too so I'm going to take the credit for this one too..... don't tell hubby). We also had 3 different family get togethers with only one being on Christmas Day and I also had to sneak off and see Twilight before school broke up as there was no way I was going with 4 children in tow to see that.......

Hubby shut his business down for nearly 2 weeks only going back today so I thought it only fair that I take a break too. As part of a Christmas present this year we received High School Musical Live on Stage tickets which was for Sunday 28th December. Our girls really enjoyed that and now that dad's back at work they want to go see High School Musical 3 along with a few other movies. Not sure how many we'll get to as it's quite costly taking 5 of you to the Cinema's these days so we might have to vote on what we miss out on. We've also been having lots of fun with our family Christmas present also known as a Wii and Wii-Fit. If you haven't watched someone Hula Hoop on a Wii yet you don't know what you're missing.

Anyway let's move on to why you are really here and that's to see what I've been creating. Yes on Saturday I finally sat down and started stamping again. I've only just managed to photograph the cards today though as I've been a little off colour. I made 4 cards but I'm only going to show you one a day so hopefully by the time I've shared those I'll have had a chance to create some more. I'm not going to make promises but I'll try to be a little more consistent this year.

The first card is:

Live Your Dreams 4

I actually made this card for the SplitCoastStampers Limited Supply Challenge (LSC201)- My Favourite Things but still have to upload it (hopefully in the morning). I haven't done a Limited Supply Challenge before but I liked the sound of this one. We could use any theme but of course it had to be a favourite set or favourite company (obviously they should have just said a Stampin' Up! set), we were limited to 3 favourite colours of card + a neutral, and could only use 2 - 3 other favourite things so I've used punches and paper piercing. This stamp set is a new one from the Summer Mini which is a current favourite.

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Live Your Dream
Card: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Old Olive Prints DSP
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose & Old Olive Markers
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Small & Large Oval Punches, Paper Piercing template & tool (Tool Kit), Stampin' Dimensionals.
