Now onto my creation.
I’ve created a Christmas card today using the gorgeous Bluebell with Robin image by Wild Rose Studio.
The paper I’ve used is also by Wild Rose Studio and is from the A Robin’s Christmas Paper Pack.
My image was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured with Copic Markers. I have then fussy cut the image out and layered onto the front lever panel of my card using dimensionals. The sentiment on the front comes with the Bluebell with Robin image and I have stamped this also in Memento Tuxedo Black, fussy cut and layered onto another layer which has also been fussy cut.
The colours I’ve used are: E35, E33, E31, E30, R29, R27, R24, R22, G29, G28, G24, G21, G20.
Here’s a closer look at the image.
Here’s one of my card open.
This is a Lever Card. You can find a tutorial here at Splitcoaststampers but I liked Norma’s measurements which can be found here for a 6” x 6” card. I decided to turn the measurements into a studio file to be cut on my Silhouette Cameo. The main card and all the pattern pieces can be cut in no time at all and fit perfectly.
My sentiment on the inside if from Wonderous Wreath by Stampin’ Up. I have stamped this in Real Red ink, punched out and layered using the 2” Circle & 2 3/8” Scallop Circle punches. I’ve added a couple of Wild Orchid Crafts roses on the front with the Swirl & Flower Leaf die from Doohickey and a few Rhinestones in the other corners.
Here’s one last picture.
Your next stop for the hop is Lydia.
