It’s time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and this time the challenge is…..
‘Anything But A Card’.
This week, as always, we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter and Veronica & Pedro are offering a fabulous prize of $30 to spend at their site.
If you use a TPS image in your creation you will receive the full $30 to spend on their gorgeous designs, and if you haven’t used a TPS image then you will win 3 Digis of your choice from their site.
For my creation this week I decided to make a gift bag.
I’ve opted to use a pre-coloured image this week called Enchanted Dream.
I printed my image onto X-Press It Blending Card and cut it out using the Oval Framelits from Stampin’ Up!. I’ve added 2 additional layers one in Smoky Slate and the outer scallop layer in Pistachio Pudding, both from Stampin’ Up!. The layers have some paper piercing added to them too.
The bottom layer consists of some Smoky Slate Pattern DSP layered onto a piece of Pistachio Pudding cardstock. I added some lace to the top edge and then a piece of seam binding as well as a bow made with the same seam binding. Some Wild Orchid Craft flowers in the bottom corner finish off my bag.
Here’s a close up of the image…
