Enjoy!

It’s time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and this time the challenge is…..

‘Back to School’.

This week, as always, we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter and Veronica & Pedro are offering a fabulous prize of $30 to spend at their site.

If you use a TPS image in your creation you will receive the full $30 to spend on their gorgeous designs, and if you haven’t used a TPS image then you will win 3 Digis of your choice from their site.

I always struggle with the theme of 'Back to School' as in Australia it's a totally different time of year that our children go back to school but we also aren't big on celebrating the occasion. I guess us parents are happy but the children aren't overly excited.

So for this creation I decided to use the image called 'Sport Star' by The Paper Shelter. Some children are academic while others love their sports so this to me still says 'school'.

My image has been printed onto Cryogen White cardstock and coloured with my Copic Markers. The colours I’ve used are:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair, Bench & Ground - E44, E43, E42, E41
Clothes - BG75, BG72, BG70, B24, B23, B21
Basketball - YR18, YR15, YR14, YR12.

Here’s a close up of the image.

I kept my card very clean & simple as flowers & frills wouldn't have suited the image to me.

Supplies:
Stamps: Sport Star (The Paper Shelter), All About Sugar (retired Stampin' Up)
Card: Naturals White & Bravo Burgundy (retired Stampin' Up), Cryogen White
Papers: Carnival & Carnival Potion (Bo Bunny)
Ink & Markers: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers
Dies & Punches: Deco Labels Framelits (retired Stampin' Up)

If you haven’t already stopped by The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog then please do so you can check out the wonderful creations the rest of the DT have come up with.

I’m entering my card into the following challenges:

Artistic Inspiration - #162 Anything Goes
Cards in Envy - Hip to be Square
Craft Your Passion - #326 Anything Goes
