Birthday Wishes

I’m back today to share my latest creation for Midweek Magnolia. Our new challenge is… 

‘Shabby Chic or Vintage’. 

I’ve made this pretty card today using ‘Tilda with Rose Lace Dress' from Magnolia’s ‘Pink Lemonade’ Collection. 



My image has been stamped onto Cryogen White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I have coloured my image with Copic Markers in the following colours: 
Skin – E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair & Shoes – W5, W3, W1, W00
Dress & Hat Ribbon – RV95, RV93, RV91
Hat – YG93, YG91

Here’s a close up of my image. 


I have sponges all the edges of my paper and cardstock, added some frantage to my image layer and sponged my die cut pieces. My paper is from the 'Vintage Autumn Basics' from Maja Designs. Some pretty lace, seam binding, flowers & pearls complete my card.

Magical Birthday

It’s time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and this time the challenge is…..

I'm using one of their newer images today called 'Daisies in Paradise' to create this pretty Birthday Card. 


It's a bit hard to see in the photo but there is a small butterfly charm attached to my ribbon on the flowers. 

My image has been printed onto Cryogen White cardstock and coloured with my Copic Markers. The colours I’ve used are:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E57, E55, E53, E51
The remainder of the image is coloured using R02, R01, YG67, YG63, YG61, Y15, Y13, Y11, W5, W3, W1, W00.

The wings and flowers also have some clear Wink of Stella over them to make them sparkle. Hopefully you can see that in the picture below. Looks much better in real life though.

I've created this pretty card today using the lovely 'Bikini Tilda' from Magnolia. I have adorned her with some gorgeous Marianne Design dies and some pretty papers from Kaisercraft.

Hello Little Butterfly

At first I wasn't too sure what I was going to make for this challenge. A bag, a tag.... Then I remembered that I wanted to make a Perpetual Calendar after seeing Norma's lovely creation here some time back. If you'd like to make one too Norma has done a tutorial which you will find here.  I actually turned Norma's instructions into cut files so I can cut them on my Silhouette with all my paper & card layers needed too. 

Here's is how mine turned out. 


I love the pretty colours in these papers from Kaisercraft's Sea Breeze Collection. 

I've used the gorgeous 'Hello Little Butterfly' image from Magnolia which is one of my all time favourites. I've stamped my image onto X-Press It Blending card using Rich Cocoa Memento Ink and coloured with my Copic Markers.
