Best Friends….

I’m back today to share my latest creation for Midweek Magnolia. Our new challenge is…

‘Let’s Get Sentimental’.
(Use a Magnolia sentiment along with your Tilda/Edwin)

I’m using the sweet Gemini Tilda image from the Zodiac Collection on my card today. For my sentiment I thought the ‘Forever Best Friends’ from the Animal of the Year Collection went beautifully. What better best friend could you have than your twin.

Hair - E55, E53, E51
Clothes - BG05, BG02, BG01

Here’s a close up of my image.

P1050429

I have added a Magnolia Doohickey ‘So Wrapped Lovely’ heart tag and bow on the right.

Here’s the tag lifted.

P1050430

I’ve used some Magnolia papers on my card and they are Vintage Blue Autumn ‘Turning Leaves’ and Eau de Cologne ‘Sweet Crazy Love’. I have machine stitched around the paper/card layers. A little lace and some pretty flowers finish off my card.

One last look.

Wishing You a Day Full of Happiness

It’s time for a new challenge over at ABC Challenges.

Our challenge for you today is ‘C is for Cupid’.
We are looking for creations with a Love, Romance, Valentines, Wedding or Engagement theme.

Our sponsors for this challenge are Marianne Design & Stamp and Create.

I’ve gone with a ‘Young Love’ theme for my card today and have used a Snoesjes Topper from Marianne Design.

P1050379

I’ve layered my image onto a Marianne Design die and used the coordinating edge on 2 sides of my top paper layer. I’ve used a Marianne Design corner die in the top right edge of the bottom paper layer. My base card has been edged with the Cherish ‘Around the Page’ Punch from Martha Stewart.

Here’s a closer look at the image.

Isn’t this sweet….

A little look at the inside….

P1050382

I’ve used the same printed paper on the inside as the bottom layer on the front of the card. I’ve cut another of the Marianne Design dies that were used around the image on the front here and added a Circle Nestabilities for writing a message on.

One last image.
