Christmas Shopping

A Merry Little Christmas

I’m back today to share my latest creation for our Midweek Reminder over at Midweek Magnolia. Our current challenge is…

Kaisercraft have a gorgeous Christmas paper collection out called ‘Silver Bells’ that had just the right paper for this challenge. I’m using one of the new Magnolia images for the ‘A Lovely Christmas’ Collection called ‘Lace Hood Tilda’.

My image has been stamped onto X-Press It Blending cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I have coloured my image with Copic Markers in the following colours:

Spring Flowers

It’s time for a new challenge over at ABC Challenges.

Our challenge for you today is

‘V is for Violet’

I found some very pretty paper in my stash from Magnolia Ink which set the season for my card. It’s so pretty with all those Hydrangeas and in a lovely ‘shade of purple’. So I chose to make a Spring card using the lovely Spring Enchantment image from The Paper Shelter.

My image has been die cut and layered using Classic Circle & Lacey Circle dies from Spellbinder. The gorgeous papers I’ve used are by Maja Designs and are from their ‘Coffee in the Arbour’ collection.

I’ve kept my card simple by adding a few layers of card in coordinating colours behind the image and layering onto a pretty edged base card. My sentiment has been created on my computer and then cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits from Stampin’ Up.
