Stamp-A-Stack classes have started.....

Today was the 1st day of the 1st week of my Stamp-A-Stack classes. I'll be running these for 5 weeks (fortnightly with a break for school holidays) on Wednesday and Friday during school hours. Wednesday's class is full but I still have room on Friday. This Friday will be 9.30am - 11.30am at my house in Lalor Park. If you would like to join us then please email me to book your spot and get directions. The cost of the class is $15 and you will make 10 cards, 5 each of 2 different designs, with envelopes. All materials are supplied.

If school hours don't suit you but you would love to make some Christmas Cards then contact me to discuss an evening class.

Here are the cards we made today and will be making on Friday.

These cards are using the In Colour range of cardstock & inks. The stitched ribbon is also an In Colour (Cranberry Crisp) but is only available from the current Mini Catalogue which ends on 31st November.

And finally....Loads of Love Birthday 3

From there I went to here. I started thinking that the original cards might be a bit time consuming for a demonstration with the slide out tag, but I still liked the colours. This still takes a little time with the colouring and cutting out of the truck but the rest of the card is a lot quicker.

Loads of Love Birthday 1

I purchased Loads of Love some time back and have hardly used it, silly me. I was asked recently to demonstate a Birthday card aimed more for a boy between 8 & 11 years of age and remembered this wonderful card on Yvette's blog and thought I'd try and create something very similar. I just loved the colour combination. One of the stamps Yvette has used is retired here so I can't use it in a demonstration anylonger so had to substitute. I also didn't want to pull the sewing machine out either so I implemented there too. This is what I came up with first time round.

Stamp sets: Loads of Love, Loads of Love Accessories, Flannel Plaid, All in a Row.

Cardstock: Taken with Teal, Cool Caribbean, Marigold Morning, Watercolour Paper.

Inks: Marigold Mornining, Cool Caribbean, Taken with Teal, Going Gray, Whisper White Craft, Stazon Black, Blush Blossom.
